We treat your location and identity like a vault. Here's exactly what happens — and what doesn't — when you use snapresolver.
Zero location storage
Your coordinates are evaluated in-memory for the duration of a single search and immediately discarded. We don't log them, sell them, or share them.
Public-only discovery
Only Snap users who explicitly toggled their profile public surface in results. Private accounts are filtered out at the source.
You're invisible by default
Until you opt in via Snap Login, snapresolver sees nothing about you — not your handle, not your friends, not your snaps.
Encrypted in transit & at rest
TLS 1.3 everywhere. Any account data you choose to store with us is AES-256 encrypted, key-rotated quarterly.
Block, mute, report — instantly
One tap removes a profile from your view forever. Reports go to a human moderation team that reviews within 24 hours.
Age & consent gates
snapresolver is 18+. We honor Snap's age signals and immediately strip any profile we detect as under-age from the index.
No stalking, no scraping
Rate-limited per IP, with abuse detection. Repeat searches against the same target trigger a permanent ban.
Geo-IP is approximate
When you choose 'Estimate from IP,' accuracy is city-level only — typically a 5–50 mile radius. We never claim it's GPS-precise.
Snap Kit OAuth, nothing more
We request only display_name and bitmoji.avatar. We can't read your snaps, chats, friends list, or location — and we never ask.

Privacy Policy
- • We do not store search location data. Coordinates are processed in-memory only.
- • If you sign in with Snap, we store your display name and Bitmoji URL only.
- • We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and Quebec's Law 25. EU/UK/CA users can request export or deletion at privacy@snapresolver.com.
- • We do not sell personal information.
- • Analytics is first-party and aggregated; no cross-site tracking pixels.
